The People Have Spoken (and They Are Wrong): The Case Against Democracy, by David Harsanyi

I read this book after Republicans chose Trump as their nominee in the 2016 presidential primaries (which shocked and appalled me). I don't remember much about it except that a) it reinforced my view that democracy is really just mob rule and was not intended to be the system the Founders created, and b) some chapters got too technical and weren't as interesting.

But overall, a book worth reading.
